I have a Hubble battery linked to a sunsynk inverter but sadly the battery has gone back to Hubble for testing as it is not behaving.
Does anyone know a place that rents out batteries for short term hopefully max 2 weeks.
I got a quote from someone that wanted 300 rand a day and 1000 for installation seems pricey.

I assume you mean Sunsynk Inverter.

Honestly, I don't think it is worth it to get something for the 2 weeks and you might just have to go without it for that time.

I can understand the the apprehension from the person renting the unit. It is high risk and the daily rate needs to reflect it. As for the installation fee - seems you need to consider transport, call-out time and potential trouble shooting time. And does that fee include taking it our again after the two weeks and reinstalling your returned battery?

Experience dictates that the Hubble wil not be sorted. Try get your money back and buy another brand. So, in short, it is not a 2 week problem.

I hope I can get my money back any advice how to go about this?

Pressure your provider who sold you the battery and use CPA to the fullest. Give them deadlines and sue in the Small Claims court if necessary. Post your experiences here, on Powerforum, facebook etc. Name and shame.

How were they linked?

Sadly, the Lord of the Rings reference has been deleted :)

Are there some fundamental issues with the brand? Looking at installing the AM2's

If under warranty the supplier should supply a temp battery.

But if the "repair" goes south don't accept the temp one as an exchange unless it was new.

Can we get more details on the "questionable behaviour"?
Battery cutting out at 46v and providing half capacity. 2.5kwh instead of 5.5kwh.
I took it into Hubble in longmeadow late last year and the tech changed the bms "capacity" and sent me home which helped for a short while.
then this year Hubble told me to update the BMS to v1.5 which did not help.
So I took the batter in again today.
Fingers crossed.

Ah okay. Yeah it's seem whatever BMS they using it is not consistent accross battery batches.

Update: It took many calls and eventually I got some one helpful who managed to escalate my call and I received a replacement battery.
To be honest even though it was resolved their customer support is basically non existent and it took me more effort then I would have expected and would not suggest people buy Hubble.
