Should 56kMan upgrade to Do3?

56kMan has 384k + 3GB TI

What will I be able to do with Do3 that I can't do with my current connection. Is is worth the extra money?

You will just get faster speed. Methinks it would probably be better to just get more cap.
 
It wont be that exact speed, it varies quite alot. You will notice a big difference though. I download alot so I would prefer a larger cap.

So it is fast. I want it faster so that I can get my files down between load shedding. :p

You haven't been paying attention to Telkom. :(

What you have is already FastADSL, FasterADSL is 512kb and what you really want, 4mb, is FastestADSL. :D That should clear things up.

(They have the worst naming scheme ever.)

wrt what you can do on 4mb: It helps a lot if you route the connection to more than 1 PC. For single use it's just faster, and if you need that then it should be great. 384 can be too slow to stream some videos etc. so it could be worth the upgrade.
 
4Mbit - one of the best things I ever did :D

YouTube - 50KB - 100KB
Torrent - 450KB (if enough seeds)
News server - 450KB if locally cached.
