Should I be worried at all?

Hi,

I have a Dell XPS L502X Notebook with:

Intel Core i7 2630QM
6GB DDR3 RAM
500GB HDD
Nvidia GT 525M 1GB DDR3 + Intel HD Graphics 3000

My notebook froze just now for about 20 odd seconds, when I right clicked an image and selected properties. The whole system froze, the mouse stopped moving. I had firefox 11 + 2 Windows Explorer windows + 3 image viewer + windows media player open when i did this.

Should I be worried that something is comming to my laptop?

Do you use Hibernate when turn your laptop off/on? It gets flaky after a few weeks and needs a restart.

Yes I mostly put my laptop on Hibernate or never switch if off provided im downloading something.

If it becomes a frequent thing then there is probably some issue, most likely software related though. But I wouldn't worry about for now, mine also does this every now and then.

Probably nothing serious to worry about yet, but it's always a good idea to keep your backups current, just in case.
