should I get a sony xperia m2

hi

Wifes contract is due for an upgrade. looking at a budget of up to R300. she does not want s4 or s4mini. Was looking at the xperia m2. need some advice though... is it a good phone or not? pro's and con's? all help is appreciated

A decent phone for the price. I wouldn't mind one.

With a budget of R300 you could also look at the Luimia 1020 with the 41M camera if she isn't tied to Android and the Xperia V if she wants something waterproof.

she does want android only. unfortunately telkom mobile does not offer the xperia v. she currently has the tab 2 p6200 and loves it. so basically want something on par or better than that
 
The Xperia M2 is a very decent choice. Its got a nice design amd a decent screen, the Sony apps, Android 4.4 and a quad core processor. The only downside I'd say is it not being waterproof and slightly below average camera. You can also take a look at the Huawei Ascend P6, Huawei Ascend G6 or LG G2 Mini. Some Windows Phones you can get are the Nokia Lumia 925, Nokia Lumia 1020 and a Lumia 1320.
