Should we install Graphics Drivers - Windows 7?

Windows 7 seems to automatically install drivers for my new card, should I download the Nvidia ones? Are they better?

The increase you get depends on the card you have.

i was using the stock windows drivers and my graphic n game performance was rated at 5.9 after installing the drivers it went to 6.3. not much of a gamer so cant comment on game performance.

Yes, you should always use manufacturer's drivers when possible unless they are hopelessly out of date or commonly determined to be buggy (and a better windows driver is available).

Windows update gives you manufacturer drivers for nvidia, not sure how up to date they are though but ya the first thing you do is get the latest nvidia or ati drivers.

It will even work if you just have microsoft drivers installed from the time of the OS installation. Updates will detect your card and offer you the latest driver version.
