Hes the best from SA no1s talking bout the rest of Africa and I still would say Kanu was Africas best.

Um...Not really. Unless you're talking about a different Kanu. He is the same guy who never quite made it into arsenal's first eleven right? If that's him, then nope, he's not the best.

I just think Pereira wants Benni so he can win a couple games thus justifying his pay check, let Pereira work for it!!!!

SHOULD, if these players take their heads out their asses and actually be proud to represent their countries.

But Benni did say in an interview that he wants to play, it's just that he has grief with SAFA thats whats causing him to stay away. I think it's just the millions that gave him a big head and he doesn't wanna risk his income from Blackburn.

Agreed. Though Eto'o has a case as well. He's won the best african footballer of theyear award two years in a row. These days, Benni is never even in the finalists, why cause he thinks he's too big for his national team. FFS guys, south american players like Ronaldinho also have to report for national duty and they too don;'t get paid, so why do we have to excuse this little brat?
 
exactly and the Brazilians have no problem going home to play for their country even though they have alot further to travel..
 
jozi u seem to dislike benni alot

firstly benni has played for teams outside the big countries thus does not get the awards

benni will be up for african player of the year very soon in england

i think playing for brazil and playing for south africa are totally different, the players in this country cannot play football simple as that

i think i know football pretty well, reading watching football you get to know it

i can tell you put benni in a big club and you'll see him shine

on the kanu issue the reason he never played for arsenal was because of dennis bergkamp, he didnt like kanu and arsene wenger had a choice kanu or bergkamp because bergkamp refused to play in the same team

he made his choice and it was not kanu, the only time kanu played was when bergkamp couldnt travel to europe because he was scared to fly, also if bergkamp was injured, now jozi you told me i know nothing i'll bet you never knew this did you, but yet you put down kan u as a failer, kanu was awesome, 1 of the best african footballer's ive ever seen

o no wait you prolly did know all that cause you know football
