Is anyone here familiar with Royal Watch in JHB? Their website royalwatch.co.za looks good and their Insta has been up for a few years, but they have no listed address, no google reviews and they aren't on Chrono24.

They have a watch I'm keen on but unless people can vouch them them I'm not taking any chances.

I picked up a couple of the el cheapo sailcloth straps off Amazon. They're nothing like what you'd find on a Fifty Fathoms or something from Barton, but they're not bad for the money and look quite smart.

I'd say do your utmost to ensure authenticity.

I know someone in Cape Town who dealt with a website like this and ended up with a snide Panerai and no recourse.
