Show your watch thread

It's been too long since my last purchase. Just had to take the plunge and give in to the addiction.
Cheapie Casio from Takealot.

Saw it on a black leather strap on Youtube which really makes the watch pop. (

Interested in getting this strap:

Anyone bought from them before?

Bought as "Eyecatcher" and "Serviced". This one didn't have proper power reserve and would run weird / lose time randomly, so I didn't wear it much. Even the Timegrapher showed this thing was barely keeping it together. Stripped my threads with it yesterday and opened it to take a look to see what's up. Nicely clean but without a drop of oil anywhere, also a stuffed balance spring. I mean really - you'd think I've had enough of SKX's for a while.

Anyway, stripped, rebuilt, replaced and oiled properly; it has it's power back and is beating strong now - hopefully I can wear it now without getting upset at it

Gents, did, or does anyone know a way to purchase one of the "International" Swatch Omega Speedmaster watches? I am 100% interested in buying a Moon replica after mine, handed down from my late father was stolen in a house robbery years back. If anyone is planning a trip, or can advise on a route via a retailer, pls share the deets. Shot.

I suspect you're SOL. They're still not available online, only at selected Swatch stores abroad. And if they get stock in, it disappears almost instantly. People are still standing queue for these when they become available.

With all the OTT stuff I've been doing lately, I felt like building something a little more subtle this morning. These are pretty much all aftermarket stuff that I had left over from previous projects or stock. Plus, my geyser blew this morning. So it's Blue. And I'm a sucker for textured dials.

love the STO dial!
Thanks man. I'm a sucker for those as well. I found a new seller on Ali and he has a range of dials that's something to behold. I grabbed some random bits from him a while back to test the waters and I'm genuinely impressed with the quality. I'll be ordering more cosmetic bits from him soon. I'm actually thinking of chucking all that in a turtle case I have here just for sh!ts
