I want to throw up

I bought one of these breitlings around 1996 from a pawn shop on point rd in durban around 1997 or so - for R80.
at some point i wanted a new strap, forgot the watch in the car - car got stolen.

the car - not mine (same model), mine was used to tow a speedboat - it's arse constantly dunked into the
waters of hazelmere dam slipway, so not exactly fantastic condition.

And the one who stole the car more than likely have no clue of the value of the watch...

cape town - watchmakers

any recommendations
the chap i used was an old guy - watchmaking was more a hobby and passion, than a"job".
brilliant man, but has now finally called it a day due to failing eyesight.

i have somehow snapped the crown off the winding stem of a watch.
stem is still inside the mechanism.

i'm figuring since a repair is needed, a good service would be in order - this is a "daily wear" watch, i've been wearing for about 10yrs now.

seems like a great moment in bad design.
this is what it would have looked like when new - that crown stands out and proud, vulnerable to snapping off:
