So, the shower is leaking into the first-floor ceiling and I need to redo the waterproofing.
Now, I'll obviously need new tiles etc. and the hinged shower door leaks onto the floor outside the shower.
I don't think I'll be able to have a shower on the floor because of the plumbing, but I want to have a shower that is the EASIEST TO CLEAN as possible.
I hate grout and rough tiles as they get soap scum, and mold starts growing pretty easily, even with thorough cleaning. Also, silicone sealant is the worst from a mold perspective. It may be mold resistant for the first 10 days, but once mold touches it, it never leaves.
My main priority here is to keep it super simple and minimize nooks and crannies, using the best materials to not get mold and soapscum. I want to keep this thing pristine!
Any tips or suggestions welcome.
