Showmax/netflix on raspberry pi 3

My understanding is that its not easy getting the showmax and netflix app on the raspberry pi 3 to work but are you able watch it through the web browser? Its should work that way....
Wanting to fund out as i can get a raspberry pi 3 kit for r700 and want to replace laptop plug into tv

YES, you install Linux OS and installed Chromium browser. Supports Full HD.
Its way more better then laptop plug in.

The nice thing about the pi 3 there are 100 of great stuff happening. I downloaded android OS on it and use the Netflix app(Offline mode was disable through, but minor work around you can get it to work offline).
I going to try Android TV OS.
