Sick Customer

Lol... I'd fully expect to be told to f off if I went to my VW dealer and asked/told them to paint all the nuts in the engine bay for free... lol

or your own nuts would turn blue from the bruising they would get!

@Rouxenator - the stupid t w a t had a bloody Astra in the first place and we had to settle that for him in the trade in because he was so eager to get out of it.

He seriously has a problem, and it goes way beyond blue nuts in the end! :p

What a pity, GMSA are notorious for their don't-give-a-crap and you-used-the-car-for-racing attitudes towards their customers. Do you think he tried some of his tricks on them and it did not get him far ?

I think VWSA should be his next stop, can't wait to read his long crappy story and CAR magazine with a short two liner reply from VWSA basically telling him to STFU (they are very good at that).

FINAL SOLUTION

Hopefully this whole bloody mess has now come to an end.

We have now offered to buy his car back, at OUR price, provided he buggers off and buys a car from another manufacturer...:p

We no longer wish to have him anywhere near our cars or our property.

Hopefully that is the end of the story. :D

That feels almost unfair and way too easy. He should suffer a lot more. I hope his next car is from a big dealer that could not care less about him. Be sure all your branches get the memo that he is blacklisted.

So he wins? Surely, he'll only sell at a value that allows him to settle.
Some guys have all the luck. All the money spent "pleasing" him and you're just going to meekly give in. Returning a car is damn near impossible in this country even a day after or minutes after you buy it. There are stories of people buying cars, finding problems and the dealer offering them only the repair option.

Why did you guys not take legal action against him, and try to get something out of him for a change?

There comes a time in a fight where you have to back down and get out of it as cleanly as you can. We could have gone to court, and had our name splashed all over the place. Guaranteed he would have made enough noise to make us look like the bad guys.

This way all we have done is buy it at a price that suits us. He HAS to settle the car, so will have to find about 35k from somewhere before he gets his fat ass around to even looking for another car.

We have ended up with a beautiful car that we can sell, and we have the SOB out of our hair once and for all.

Win Win situation for us in the end.
