Hi,

Seem to be having a problem with Sickbeard. With certain series (Nikita, Big Bang and one or two more) it doesn't download the episodes even though it is available on Newshost. Sometimes it takes days to fetch the file, and sometimes it does not fetch it at all and I have to manually add it. Anyone else have this problem?

Iv tried deleting and re adding the series. Keep in mind, I have made sure the episode is available on Newhost.

Is your quality setting correct? I installed an updated version which understood the new 'sd' naming convention.

it's probably the naming convention, sickbeard doesn't like the nikita.314.hdtv naming convention.

How do I do that?

I think my quality setting is correct. It has some on SD and some on HD.

I personally use SD-TV (I think they are released faster than the normal SD "DVD" versions.... although they contain a network logo, which i'm fine with)
If you use normal SD i think it counts for any/both versions though, so it's okay.

add as many as you can. you can sort by priority but it's not really that important I think
(I disable wombles though)

Using SD setting SB will grab either SDTV or DVD rip, but DVD gets preference over SDTV, however using the custom selection of just SDTV will not result in you getting the show any sooner than just choosing SD. For HD option it goes 720p Bluray > 720p web-dl > 720p HDTV, obviously it will just grab the best out of what is availabe at the time. It will not grab 1080p content unless you specifically select that option under custom quality
