You are better off migrating to Sickrage which is actively developed still. In fact, it does have better torrent support, including adding your own customized rss feeds, so technically if you are on CTWUG or ect, you can use WUG torrents if you want.

Sickbeard is not really receiving updates anymore...so move away from it. Either Sickrage (which is a fork) or Sonarr which is a completely different app doing a similar thing to Sickbeard.

Is there a way to "migrate" from sickbeard to sickrage on a windows machine without having to redo all of the settings etc?

Just saw this in the readme. Please note I have never used sickrage software before.

"Please before using this with your existing database (sickbeard.db) please make a backup copy of it and delete any other database files such as cache.db and failed.db if present, we HIGHLY recommend starting out with no database files at all to make this a fresh start but the choice is at your own risk"

I had issues with both sickbeard and sickrage, so at the suggestion of someone else here I have moved to Sonarr.

What a pleasure.

Cool thanks. Think it would be better to rather just start fresh.

I tried to migrate my database, but there was failures unfortunately.

That said, just point it to the series folder your sickbeard used to manage, and it will pick up all the shows mostly fine. I just had to go and redo the quality settings on each show.

Is there a step by step guide for Linux Mint?

I installed Sabnzbd and Sickbeard on a Mint VM several times over the weekend but Mint freezes whenever I try to add Sabnzbd and Sick Beard as applications that need to boot with Mint.

The average joe guide to Setting up Sickbeard , SABnzbd and plex.
