Would anyone know how come my Giga792SX for no reason I know of has suddenly reverted to factory defaults and I am now reflecting as a " guest user " on Telkom systems. My ISP is @tlantic. This entails having to set up the router all over again.

I don't know how the router would have done that itself, but I do know that it would probably be quicker to set up again than creating a post about it.

Thanks getting desperate, 1/2 hour on line with Telkom last night and no joy. First timer on forum so I must classify myself as a novice !

Hi Harcourt and welcome.
Set it up again and put the reset down to the mysteries of the universe.
It might be a good idea to make a note of the settings that you change from the factory defaults to make setup quicker should it happen again.
If it does happen again then maybe the equipment is faulty.
