I hope somebody out there can help me. I recently got a MTN 3G card from Autopage (the Sierra Wireless Aircard 850) which connects through a Ricoh PCMCIA. I got the software installed updated the drivers etc. but for some reason the Sierra Aircard was not picked up on the Device Manager in addition, the Ricoh PCMCIA was shown as a SiS PCMCIA. After weeks of getting nowhere I found out that there is a conflict problem with all SiS motherboards. So I got a new Nvidia motherboard. I can now pick up the Ricoh PCMCIA and the Sierra Aircard but, still get a message from the Sierra software that the simcard can not be picked up.

I read in the blogs that someone else had a similar problem and got around it but, he didn't give any details.

Anyone have advice?

Now that you a new motherboard does you sierra wireless show in yoru device manager? Also remeber the sierra wireless is a lan card..

Yep, it shows on the Device Manager but, there seems to be a resource conflict. I get a Code 12 warning. I actually took the machine into the computer shop that sold me the PCMCIA card but, they couldn't figure it out. I even tried to change the settings of my resources but, for some reason, there aren't any free.
