Sigma lens for Nikon

Hi everyone,

I this Sigma a good lens to buy or is it not worth it? It's for my Nikon D3100.

Or would you rather go for the Nikon lens which is R2400?

You know what, for R600 Rand it's not worth buying the cheaper lens. If you were potentially going to save say R5k then yes but don't stuff around.

No. It's the version without 'APO' in its name. The APO one is a few hundred more and much better.

Here is the same lense and a similar priced one from www.sacamera.co.za, so BnB is not a great deal.
That said Sacamera may be easier to get hold of for aftersales than someone in Naboomspruit.

Sorry to hijack but how good is the Tamron lens ?
