after nearly 2 years of living where i do, i finally noticed that trains passing at 100 meters from my house cause my signal to disappear.

if the train is long enough, or drives very slowly, it will interrupt the signal long enough for my modem to disconnect...

if it wasn't such a nuisance i would actually find this funny...

anoying but funny

You usally read about people complaining about trees blocking signal and bad weather but a train is a new one. I can belive it must bug you a lot but still I find it funny and unbelivable that a train is causing that problem. It would be interesting to find if it is the train getting between you and the base station or what would cause that....

I've had the same problem while trying to demo MyWireless to a client. We were on the 8th floor of some flats and the tower is high up on a hill. As the train went past, signal dropped and I lost connection. A few trains went by over the 2 hours and it happend each time.
