Signal keeps dropping

I can't even count how many times I've reset my modem in the last few days. It loses 1 light and poof, it disconnects. As soon as you reset the modem it's fine. There isn't even wind so I don't know what the **** is going on.

Hmm, even with one light dropping it shouldn't disconnect...

Hmmm, now that you mention it, I'm seeing the same thing, so it must be something with Horizon then? But I dont notice being disconnected, although, its possible that my router is just reconnecting before I notice.

Luckly I do not have to reboot my modem!

Sometimes all my modem's lights go out, but I still seem to stay connected - while I am watching anyway.

Yes, this has been happening with me as well, and more, when it reconnects, i try to ping my next hop and it gives me a latecy between 300-3000 ms!

I swear, if i move my modem 1 cm anywhere other than where it currently is, my full signal goes to 1 or 0... So i glued the sucker down to my desk!! Lets see it try move now!! HA! ...its amazing what superglue, sticky stuff and tape can fix!

Isn't that just as good as connecting using a "fixed" telephone line
