Hi guys, Cape winter is here in full swing and the signal has been lost since last night. some channels work like MM1, but other MNET channels are down and almost everything else. Anyone else having this problem? Need to know if its weather related,
thanks.

This happens a lot. Some channels are on a transponder with a stronger signal (apparently). It's rare for the signal to go for very long though.

Some say it is the size of the dish that they gave you, which should have been at least 90cm. Others say the signal is weak. There are other factors such as how well the installation was 'tuned' and the quality of the cabling and LNB.

Also from my experience just get the guys to come do a dish re-alignment. In Cape Town the wind can blow and mine was totally out. Slight rain and mine would lose signal. This is now sorted. It has to rain extremely hard for it to lose signal
