No sure if its silicone or not but I got a tube of Scar Science from a plastic surgeon for a scar and it seems to work pretty well. http://www.scarscience.co.za/

I've used Vitamin E cream + Bio-Oil and it worked pretty well after a good few months of applying daily.

When I was pregnant I bought Shark liver oil from a shop in Rivonia Boulevard (if I remember correctly) - I didn't get one stretch mark! It stinks like pepe le pew on heat but works a charm.

Pleasure, Nope, bought it direct from the Doc, and medical aid didnt pay for it either, its seen as "over the counter" medicine.
