I have noticed that for some reason my sync speed can drop on some days.
Like last night I noticed that the max speed I would get out of my 2mbps account was about 1.5mbps.
It is not the first time this took place. Most of the time I can fix the sync speed issue by rebooting the router, the Magix fix my line do daa, but last night I could get nothing sorted on the line. Sync speed got stuck on 1536kbps.
I logged a task and it was fixed by AH somehow. Now the question is: Why does this happen. There are some times that the line will drop and then pick up (as soon as shaping kicks in) and had a few times when the shaping would happen, line would stop and I would have to kill the router for 5 minutes or more) and then some times it will resume data connections.
I just want to get a feel here if it is AH or Telkom that are responsible for the problem of the speed dropping down to a connection speed of 1536kbps
I have a brand new Netgear Router DGN220v4 if I am not wrong
