Sim Card Question

Hi All

I have what might be a simple question..

If I have a contract with MTN for example and now have an Ipad and another 3G device, can I have 2 or so sims all linked to my number\contract? Specifically a Microsim? all sims have the same functionality they are all just duplicates.
