Sim card Stoped working

I have had my VM simcard for 9 months with my vodacom number and yesterday i switched my phone off and tried switching it back on and is just stays by the white screen with nokia written in blue.I have a N70. I put a old vodacom sim in and it works with that. I also tried the VM simcard in another phone and the same thing happens. Did the simcard just suddenly die or sumthing?

Take the sim to VM to be tested. that's strange, first time I hear of something like this.
Try cleaning the sim with alcohol on a dry cloth.

Went to VM and they fixed it.They just replaced the sim for free. The best service i have recieved from VM yet. But i had to wait about 2 days before the new sim card was activated.

Maybe it was a sign to ditch VM and go to a real network?

lol ive been planning to do that.But when i was useing a vodacom simcard until i get the virgin simcard fixed i saw how cheap calls are on virgin.
