After my wife's MTN contract expired, we called them to move it over to prepaid yesterday. They said the process takes 2 to 48 hours to complete, so very vague. Hence, my wife kept checking her balance over and over every few hours to see when the airtime balance goes to 0. Now there is a new value of R10.00 airtime (non-expiring, apparently), but the free minutes and data as the contract had, still remains.

So, does this new R10.00 airtime reflect that the migration is complete? If not, what is the reason that this airtime was added after the request?

EDIT: Wrong section. @MickeyD or some mod, please move this section if possible. :) http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/forumdi...ile-Phones-Call-Contracts-Content-MMS-and-SMS

Thanks.

Hi there, PM the mobile number in question so I can check this for you and advise if the migration has been processed.

Thanks.

This also happened to me this month, my unused data got carried over to my prepaid number.
And they also gave me R10 for some reason...
