Sim Only Upgrade - 7 Nov 2017

Upgraded my contract with a Sim Only deal on the 7th November online. Vcom contacted me, went through the whole TsCs etc...and said that the new package would take effect 1 Dec. Confirmed with the upgrade dept on the 28th Nov, and was assured that all is in place for the upgrade.

1 Dec came and nothing happened. After numerous calls to various departments, of which none ever bothered to return a call, the Social Dept via a Twitter contact apologized, recognized the fault on Vcom's side and gave me a 10 Gig data as a gesture of goodwill, which I accepted. I was assured that the new package will take effect on the 1 Jan.

1 Jan came and again, nothing happened. I have in the last 9 days made no less then 15 calls to various Vcom departments, again with only the Social Team calling me back after a twitter message was sent, reference numbers were given, and again 9 days gone, still with no solution.

Received messages from Vcom saying that reference number has been resolved, without anyone even phoning me back. While on the phone with Vcom, I even received a sms telling me that my contract term has come to an end, and I can visit a store to upgrade, the consultant thought this was a joke from my side.

Also posted on hellopeter, again reference number given and no feedback.

To date I can only praise the Social Media Team for always returning calls, yet their hands are tied, and they are only reliant on other departments to sort this issue, and certainly not having any luck with it. As for the upgrades department, rude, ignorant, poorly trained, and rude consultants and supervisors are the order of the day.

It seem Vcom is simply not interested in keeping me for another 24 months, can anyone suggest another avenue to communication for some help here?
 
Sim swap to another provider...problem solved no more frustration...
