SIM REGISTRATION FAILURE

I applied for the new 10 Gig Special and received my sim card with courier yesterday.

Phoned a couple of times to ask for activation of card.

As yet. NOTHING.

How is it possible that you must wait up to 48 hours for activation.

Tried calling the 081 180 numbers from my vodacom phone, but you are just kept on hold. It cost money people.
 
I've waited more than 48 hours and my sim had still not been activated. I tell them I received my sim Friday and they tell me it takes 48 hours, I then have to explain that Wednesday is more than 48 hours after Friday. Still waiting....
 
And I thought you couldn't get crappier than Neotel.

Holy cow, this crap is going to drive me crazy.
 
Same happened to me about 4 months ago with voice sim. Eventuality the couriered a new sim card.
 
Finally, received a sms to say my card has been activated. (Exactly 48 hours after receiving my sim card)
Was worth the wait.
I had Neotel and my best download speed was between 50 - 60kb per second. Did a quick test and my download are averaging 140. It's like christmas for me.
