Sim swap on a ported number

I have ported from mtn to telkom during October 2018 and I could not receive calls and sms for about 2 weeks. I was then sorted. A week ago I lost my phone and did sim swap on 10 Dec, I can only make calls and use data. My number does not receive calls, sms nor send send sms. Been in contact with telkom but there is no solution to date. I am stressing as this is my old no and cannot change it. PLZ HELP
