I posted questions elsewhere, but not sure whether those threads were in the Android forum (I almost always use Tapatalk to access MyBB)

I am currently in trial phase with using Simfy and am really hoping I could continue using it!

How do you delete songs that are downloaded for offline use on Android? For the lofe of me I can't figure it out. (I don't just wanna delete from playlist, I want to delete the actual offline, downloaded song, without fiddling in the file system)

At what size (for average song) or quality do songs download for offline listening?

Any help would be appreciated!

I don't think that's how Simfy works. If I remember correctly, don't you right click on a playlist in the desktop app and select the option for offline listening and download the whole thing? I imagine the mobile apps function similarly. You either have an entire playlist offline or you don't. Just don't make large playlists and you should be fine. I have no idea about the quality, but I assume it will be the best quality available. I'd guess 4-7MB for most tracks.

Hi FreeStanler,

In order to delete the offline songs you have on your Android app you need to go the playlist with the offline songs you’d like to delete, long press and hold and select option to “delete offline”. This will delete the song off the playlist. At this stage, if you would like to delete the offline song you would have to delete it off the playlist.

With regard to your question on song quality and size; the songs have a streaming quality of 190-320 Kbits which is comparable to the sound from a CD. You can work on an average of 1meg per minute for each song.

Thanks Simfy Africa!

But if songs were downloaded without first being added to a playlist, ie it is just under 'songs' but not yet under playlist? We downloaded a lot of albums overnight in order to put them into playlists later...
