I wish to replace my wife 2005 Nissan X trail original headunit. New replacement headunit should have at minimum MP3 and nice to have are bluetooth hands free phone connection. There are many options on the market. But the advice I need is wrt to wiring. I do not want to cut any wires, I wish to unplug the old head unit and plug in the new headunit. I understand from reading various articles I need a nissan headunit adpator wire to iso and then another adpator i.e. an iso to "brand specific" headunit wire. Where can i get the nissan adpator wire and the other wire. I reckon that I would get a headunit after I get the wire, as opposed to getting a headunit and then trying to get that specific adaptor wire. Hope this post make sense.

Most car audio figment shops would sell you a specific wiring harness with the head unit. Just walk in and ask.

If the Nissan doesn't have a ISO connector for it's radio you should be able to get an adapter from car audio shops, shouldn't be more than R150

I have a Pioneer 9800BT with Bluetooth handsfree and iPod adapter with ISO connectors on it for sale if you are interested
