Single Life : Expensive :(

Tell me about it:mad:

Eish, I'm actually pondering on the idea of asking my big sista to come live with me in ma house, she currently stays in town - renting (for the past 4yrs or so).:confused::confused:

But maybe not, not sure if the privacy invasion is worth it:p

My privacy is pretty important to me... doubt if I could live with anyone but a serious boyfriend/husband. Definitely not my sister :)

I knew it would annoy you all :P

As a recently singled singleton I've found the biggest expense to be setting myself up with the most basic stuff. Kettle, microwave, couches etc... these all add up to one fat total of 'completely broke for the rest of the year'

/me offers to move in with Dolby

You supply the furniture and I'll pay half your rent :D

Thats the biggest costs of living alone.. I wonder tho, if you get a gf/bf, post getting all the stuff to survive alone isn't it kinda like that person is a freeloader? particularly if they suddenly at your place more than their own or decide very early to move in :p Always wondered how thats arranged/brought up.. rental

Guess it depends... I have all my own stuff, and I like my stuff. I'd hate to have to get rid of stuff to fit his stuff in - it would be easier, in my case, to find a guy who doesn't have stuff (but who'll take me on holiday or something to prove he's not a freeloader!)
