Can anybody tell me where I can still pick up a Single view Decoder for R399.00? I stay in the Joburg area.

think they 499 as the price is most of the time set by multichoice and not by the retailer. buy one from cash crusaders if u want a cheaper one, comes with 3 months warrenty

I bought one last month for R499 from game. I tried telling the guy that Multichoice has it for R399 but they wanted proof. After that I went to the Multichoice agent, as there were street pole ads near the agent advertising it for R399, but they claimed it was not their ad and it was Multichoice who put up the ads, even though they represent Multichoice they were charging a different amount. Their price was about R689.

I eventually went back to Game and bought it for R499.

I also called the Multichoice Helpdesk to find out why they advertise one price and sell for another price but the lady couldn't help. Their website also listed it for R399, I made the lady check but all she said was that I should email them. I sent an email and its been 1 and a half months and still no reply.

R599 and it's almost 1000 times that now you can get it within 25km ;-)
