single wireless network point

I need something that I can plug a network cable into to provide an IP and network access to my Tivo. the problem is is that it is too far(through the concrete floor) from the tivo to the existing wireless router. Also the router only gets good CellC coverage on the 2nd floor so I can't really move it.

Something that goes like:

Tl-MR3420 with CellC USB stick -> WiFi network -> New gadget with single fixed IP assigned to -> Tivo

I ws looking at something like the network over power plugs. Any other ideas? Or I'll have to route 50m or more of Lan cable.

Other option is to use a wireless router that supports running as a wireless repeater? (you already have a wireless network right?)

Just add a Wireless Access Point (WAP).
