Singstar?

I hope I can get some advice here. Can I play Singstar (PS2) on a PS3 and will the mics be compatible?

Are there any other karaoke games similair to Singstar for the PS3, X-box & Wii consoles?

I think there's a Singstar available for PS3 and an XBOX alternative is Lips, although I hear its not that good.
