Hello

Has anyone been able to successfully download any songs from the SingStore for PS3 Singstar?

I have been trying the whole weekend with no success

Each time I try to log in I get to different points randomly but mostly I am told that I have lost my connection to the Server

My PS3 is wirelessly connected to my ADSL router and the PlayStation Store and updates have no problem connecting

I have seen a couple of posts stating that the Singstore is very unreliable

Really sux as I must say that the standard songs that come with Singstar for the PS3 aren't very appealing

My wife use to download a lot from singstore without any problems, but she has not played Singstar (PS3) for a while now so I don't know if there are any issues recently.

Turned out to be an Id10t problem on my side

I recently relocated my Wireless Router and forget to re-attach my external Antenna. Actually impressed that I was getting any wireless comms at all

Well reattached the antenna and now the Singstore works 100%.

Downloaded 7 songs in less than an hour

Another option is to buy some PS2 singstar games, the PS3 version of singstar allows you to eject the PS3 disk and use a PS2 one. The PS2 selection is much wider.

I like the idea of being able to choose the songs I want so being able to download them suites me fine

Agreed though that the PS2 versions have a wider selection although a lot of these songs are in the SingStore

Was just wondering with the PS2 versions, if the PS3 can plays these does it upload it to the hard drive?
