Anyone know of a site that will check to see if it can get through to your server on a particular port?

I usually walk down to a mate down the road to check this sort of thing myself but his power is out today.

Now this is weird.

The 1st one says my port is closed. The 2nd one says the port is open and so does nmap-online.

When I stop allowing on that particular port on the server's firewall I can see it bouncing the connection attempts and the port scanners that previously said the port was open now say it was closed. That to me seemed pretty promising.

Thing is that when I attempt to connect to the server (SFTP server) through an SFTP client it won't connect. It connects fine when it isn't behind the routers. Anyone know off-hand what might cause the routers to allow the port scanners to get through but not an SFTP client?
