http://sitetophone.com/

Found this a few days ago and its proven itself very useful, what it does is install to your browser, you then register your phone with it and save a bookmark. Works on most handsets, not only BB.

In you browser (computer) you would click on the app icon, it then sends the active page link to "Site to Phone" (website), the site the updates the redirect linked to the bookmark you saved on your phone to that of the active page in your web browser on your computer. The link you saved on your phone acts as a redirect, it redirects your phones browse to the last link you sent to "Site to Phone"

Comes in handy when you got to a site with an OTA download option, then you don't need to worry typing the URL only our handset or simply when you find a site that you would like to keep track of on your handset.

Can be linked to multiple handsets

I have read that explanation 3 times and I still have no idea what this does.

Ok i added in some more description, basically it acts as a redirect, any link you send from your PC browser to http://sitetophone.com/ is accessibly from the bookmark saved on your handset during your account setup.

So if you send www.charlieschocolatefactory.com to your sitetophone.com acc then when you trigger the bookmark saved on your handset it will redirect you to www.charlieschocolatefactory.com instead of you having to go to your phones browser and type www.charlieschocolatefactory.com.

Oh thank god I am not the only one anymore! lol

Is cranial one of those guys with a IQ so high that we plebs gets a confused look when he talks? lol

I have had that problem before, usually makes it easier when the site has a description to copy, was too lazy to look for one beyond the home page.

Lulz! :D

I did work it out by reading the site.

It's a means of sharing internet URL's on your computer's browser with your phone, or any other device that can browse.
