Maybe they have softened their language a bit because it's not working to their advantage but they're still lobbing rockets and bombs in the presence or absence of peace treaties/agreements which shows that there has been no change of heart.

Well your Israeli gabbas are hardly angels. Interesting stuff in the wiki article mentioned:

Yitzhaki claimed that after the war, he conducted a study proving that in six or seven separate incidents, approximately 1,000 unarmed Egyptian prisoners of war were killed by IDF units
Michael Bar-Zohar confessed that he had personally witnessed the murder of three Egyptian POWs by a cook
the Egyptian government announced that it had discovered two shallow mass graves in the Sinai at El Arish containing the remains of 30-60 Egyptian prisoners shot by Israeli soldiers during the 1967 war

and so on. It is not like things have changed much. Was it yesterday the Israelis tried to take out some Hamas boys by air attack? Daily attacks anyway.

Of course you conveniently forget militants have been raining down dozens of rockets on Israel for weeks now. Oh but Israel retaliates and now they are being "aggressive and breaking truces"

We are now seeing the Islamists idea of "peace" aren't we. Fatah and Hamas have been making great strides towards "peace" after numerous treaties. Look at how "peacefully" they are coexisting at the moment :o :o

You've got it all wrong. The rockets were retaliation for Israel's artillery strikes.

"this is not a country of humans. These are animals and a group of gangs, and this country must be wiped off the face of the earth."
August 2006, Palestinian Government Spokesman, Dr. Ghazi Hamad

If you think the Arab's goals of wiping Israel off the face of the Earth has changed in the last 30 years then you're terribly naive.

Well frankly, considering the way the Israelis in general treat the Palestinians and Israeli arabs, it's surprising that there aren't more people that want to see the state of Israel wiped off the map.

Israel is a racist state that uses its vast military power to subjugate non-jews within its sphere of influence. Either the state should change so that it is no longer racist, or it should cease to exist. And before you attempt another strawman, destroying the state of Israel is not the same thing as killing any jews.

Also, until Israel begins to treat everyone under its sphere of influence as human beings with human rights, as well as having the right to geniune self-determination, the rocket attacks will never stop. The Israeli occupation has so impoverished the occupied territories that many palestinians truly feel they have nothing to live for while the status quo remains the status quo. Israel is the only faction which can change things for the better, but that requires that it gives up its expansionist desires for Eretz Yisrael.

Yeah sure. Keep telling yourself that :o

So you accept that they see Israelis as "sub human" animals?

destroying the state of Israel is not the same thing as killing any jews.

Really? So they want to destroy the nation but not the people in it. Well
Israelis ain't gonna let that happen and won't accept getting ruled by Islamists like Hamas or corrupt despots like Fatah. So I guess the Palestinians are going to continue suffering

Maybe you should read the thread again  . You'll notice Israel was attacked before they "occupied" any territory. :o

Nope.

You really should put that crystal ball to rest one of these days.

Perhaps you would like to explain how the palestinian territories were in any way involved in the 6 day war aside from Israel deciding to occupy them. I must have missed the history lesson which detailed the existence of Palestine's standing army.

You'll notice Israel was attacked before they "occupied" any territory.

And so will the Israelis, when the next suicide bombs go off.

You'll notice Israel only exists on land they illegally "occupied" in 1948.

Nope.

Before the 1967 war, the "west bank" was sovreign Jordanian territory and Gaza was sovreign Egyptian territory. Funny how while under arab rule, the populations of these areas had no nationalistic desires, they were content to be under arab rule. so when Jordan and Egypt, among others, attacked Israel, they did so from these territories. Israel captured these territories as has been done by other countries in any defensive war. Suddenly these populations didnt want to be under Jewish rule, and so was born "palestian nationalism".

HTH

Capturing territory through war is illegal under international law. This is probably the biggest reason why Israel did not try to annex these territories, but just 'supervised' them until such a time as the 'Palestinian Authority was in a position to become a formal government'. The very UN resolution which gave Israel its status as an internationally recognised state also called for the formation of a Palestinian state.

I think you would be surprised just how many palestinians would prefer to be properly ruled by Israel and by extension to be declared Israeli citizens compared to the situation as it is now.

This, of course, is something that Israel can never allow if it is to maintain any facade of being both democratic and Jewish; in fact one of the greatest fears among many right wing Israelis is what is known as the 'demographic problem'. Israeli Arabs are breeding faster than Israeli Jews and the time is fast approaching when there will be more arab Israeli citizens than jew Israeli citizens.

Yeah and the Arabs need to stop terrorising the world. The more they attack Israel the more tey will get a nice smack. Your idiotic sig says it all.
Ah more hitler supporters on this forum.

So: when you look at it (in your support of hitler) you support genocide (even though that was originally against the jews?)

And something so far missed on the wiki:

Israeli Foreign Minister Abba Eban wrote in his autobiography that he found "Nasser's assurance that he did not plan an armed attack" convincing, adding that "Nasser did not want war; he wanted victory without war". Writing from Egypt on 4 June 1967 New York Times journalist James Reston observed: "Cairo does not want war and it is certainly not ready for war. But it has already accepted the possibility, even the likelihood, of war, as if it had lost control of the situation."

In a speech before Israeli National Defense College, Menachem Begin stated that Israel was the one who made the decision to attack: "The Egyptian army concentrations in the Sinai approaches do not prove that Nasser was really about to attack us. We must be honest with ourselves. We decided to attack him."
6 Day War

Thereby setting the tone for "pre-emption," a curse the world has suffered ever since.

@Kilo - if you start a fight dont cry when you get the shaft. Once again this has nothing to do with Nazi German or Hitler. Hitler attacked unprovoked !! READ IT!! UNPROVOKED!!
These Arabs attacked Israel unprovoked and now got taught a big lesson. Sorry but Arabs will always be the bad guys.

Wow, it's always interesting to watch someone open their mouth to swap feet. :D

My you are quite naive. Firstly, Israel is living on stolen land.
In 1880 there were 24,000 Jews living among 450,000 Palestinians.
In 1914 there were 56,000 Jews living among 715,000 Palestinians.
In 1922 there were 83,000 Jews living among 663,000 Palestinians.
In 1936 there were 385,400 Jews living among 983,200 Palestinians.
In 1940 there were 467,000 Jews living among 1,050,000 Palestinians.
In 1946 there were 600,000 Jews living among 1,300,000 Palestinians.
In 1948 there were 155,000 Palestinians living among 716,700 Jews.
In 1951 there were 173,000 Palestinians living among 1,577,000 Jews.

BEFORE 1948 THERE WERE 475 PALESTINIAN TOWNS AND VILLAGES IN PALESTINE.

SINCE THEN 385 OF THESE HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY ERASED FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH
(USUALLY BULLDOZED), BY THE JEWS/ISRAELIS.

Secondly, as has been shown above, and is common knowledge in the histories, Israel attacked first in 1967. This is not disputed anywhere! Except by you of course. Doefie.
:p

Ok "doefie" anti semite, show me another real website that says this please. Instead of some pro Arab site. Thanks.
@ Xarog - you looking in the mirror again? Take off the Turban and maybe you will see your reflection.

What makes you think I am an anti-semite ( quotes please )?

For the rest - Google is your friend. Or, in print, The Six-Day War by Randolph Spencer Churchill.

Bwahahahaha what a classic :D

First supported the Jew hating nazis and now supporting the Arab hating Jews :D

Poor Kilo you are just like our government. Soon as someone supplies facts you don't like out comes "you're a racist" blah, blah

@ Xarog - you looking in the mirror again? Take off the Turban and maybe you will see your reflection.

:D :D

By quoting a mass murderer like in your SIG it just shows who you support.

Oh that! That is a VERY true statement and quite relevant - Mr GeeWhiz Bush should take note. But a quote from an evil man does not imply support for what he did???? You jump too far to your conclusion. I consider Hitler one of the most evil and hateful humans to ever have lived. Doesn't mean he was stupid though does it? Doefie!

Come on boy, show me something anti-semitic.

You really don't read do you? You have all your kneejerks pre-stored with no look to opinion or truth from the perpetrators own mouths!!
