Six Nations

Not the best start but a long way to go.

I did fancy them before the off, but then I'm eternally optimistic :p

Doing better now.

Though if Scotland win and their fans are celebrating madly, then they realise they have just crowned England as champions...

:D

Allez France :D

Good second half in prospect now though, could go either way.

Think I have been watching too much 7's .....keep expecting the Scots to break the line with pace....but ain't happening...

Is there a South African playing for the frogs?

That would make 3.....

The full back is a Saffer. Scott Spedding.

Nice to win two in a row as well. Off to Ireland for the hat-trick next :p

Stuart Hogg named 'Player of the Six Nations'

Scotland full-back Stuart Hogg has won the Six Nations player of the championship award.

Hogg received 30% of the public votes, with England's Billy Vunipola coming second after helping his team to the Grand Slam.

Hogg was in superb form throughout the tournament, capped by a wonderful solo try in Scotland's final match against Ireland in Dublin.

The Glasgow Warrior helped Scotland to two wins in five matches.

Wales wing George North looked back to his best during the tournament, topping the scoring charts with four tries. He came third in the public vote with 11%.

Vunipola was a consistently impressive figure as England delivered five wins from five in Eddie Jones' first Six Nations as head coach.

The powerful number eight finished the campaign in the top five for ball-carries, metres made, defenders beaten and offloads.
