my car has got an USB connection for audio. do these USB SSD drives require seperate power connections or do they run off the usb power ? Any links to reasonably priced one will be appreciated. I need about 64GB.

I have an 8GB verbatim flash drive that is 25mm long & 2mm thick. It should be barely visible and have enough space for mp3s for a car radio.

I also have a 320GB SSD usb drive (same size as an iphone +/-)that requires no external power, but it does act up when you try plug it into extended usb ports, so it might give issues.

I got a 32GB verbatim and the speed pretty good. No problems at all.
