Just heard $izwe talkin about having a mandate to reduce banking costs in SA.
I ask you, why did'nt he frikken start reducing Telkom costs first.

Cause the banking arena is just a tad more competative and customers can actualy just bugger off when they not happy :P

LOL

He will have to get past his own Telkom data pricing! :D

He however probly still has some clout at Telkom, which might be the reason he got the job at First Rand. Who knows, the monster man from swamp Telkom may just pull it off. It would still be unfair though because the other banks won't have equal opportunity...

Its about bloody time costs come down!! I thinks its insane that you have to pay to put money into your own account that is just plain madness. I think companies in SA just rip people off bec they can and there aren't enough controlling bodies that put them in their place.

Which radio did you hear Sizwe ? Can you give more details on what he said ?

From Sizwe's perspective (as a CEO )banking costs could mean operation costs of FNB,

We the consumer wants to reduce "our costs" ,which are the prices they are over-charging us.

Not exactly the same thing.
