Pathetic!!!!!!!!Yep, leik 14 yrs post 1994, and we gave additional +3 Million refugees a chance to make a start here, basically free varsity degrees and free matric for all, EE/AA/BBBEE n'all...and yet, the 40 Million people in SA just cannot seem to get their skill set up and get jobs and get experiance??????:sick: I recently spoke to a University Lecturer pal of mine who told me there's some guys at Varsity that start each year over a first year students...for the last 10 years..each year in a different field...talk about a waste of opportunities!!!

Thank God there still us old British Imperialist Coots who work hard everyday and have the skills and will to actually perform at work so that we can suck this Rwanda2.0 dry and then go and retire "back home":D
 
Most of the people in my classes are re-doing the year cause they couldn't pass.
 
These "bosses" should just stfu! If they want and need skills, they should start paying people what they are worth!

I saw a job ad on this site yesterday for an IT graduate position - R6 000 a month! WTF?

So companies: STFU or start paying people!

maybe it is an AA quota position - and they know the 6K is money down the drain...

As per my post in the "IT guys are idiots" thread. I agree with this strongly. They deserve the sleepless nights then. Actually quite hillarious as I thought most of them had sleepless nights about their pocket linings and their ill gotten gains and their "flying below the tax radar"

Let us consider Company A.
It needs one more token black to meet BEE/AA quotas.
So it goes off and tries to hire anyone at the lowest possible rate, just to meet a quota. They have no work for the oke - and no need for more staff.
They just need a "bum on a seat".

What would they do?
 
Valid point I guess.... so then it's all for show. What worries me is that we actually have people working butts off for those kinds of salaries, in IT. So R6k is like paying a fixed cost really.
 
Here in Rwanda2.0 we have a whole parlaiment, no let me say it right, a whole guvamint that are nothing more than bums in seats, eating finger lunches and drinking cokes and bottled water liek his honorable mr mugabi and chums mbuweni and mbuki...all riding the i have no skills even to manage a spaza but I am now a big chief running Rwanda2.0...this place is so vrot even gastro smells like roses compared to it!
