I'm thinking of buying a Skoda Fabia and wondered if y'all, being more in the car know, have any opinions on the make?

I hadn't come across it in SA but it seems to be fairly popular here. I've test driven it and it's an easy ride. The car tax is pretty low, the mileage vs build year vs price is a good deal, and the one I've found is in really good nick. Beyond aesthetics and price I know nothing though! Any help? I want a station wagon because I need the car space but don't want to pay for the consumption on an SUV type.
 
Škoda is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Volkswagen; the Fabia is a Polo in disguise.

Won't go wrong if it's in decent nick.
 
Full model, year & country details?

It's essentially a vw polo but the engine configurations vary.
 
Excellent choice, I hope VW will introduce them in SA soon, and then stop selling them two years later. You know, do us a SEAT again.
 
Like others say ibiza/fabia/polo are all share the same chassis, engines/gearbox's, i have owned my 07 Ibiza Cupra for 2 years and its just awesome never skips a beat.. If VW brought them back me and a whole load of other guys would definitely get another..
