I got my UK buddy's login details for Sky Go (think DSTV mobile equiv). While I can get access via a pc browser, I can't get the app to login on my S3. The app does check for rooting or jailbreaking but my S3 is stock. Anybody got this working?

Have you tried to log in using a VPN for the UK

On demand stuff works for me on iOS but livetv causes an error.

Edit. Sorry. I'm using Sky's NowTv service.

Only using Unotelly which I had hoped would do the trick since it works when I use my pc browser. The app must be doing some background checks methinks :(

No one is going to get this app working in SA.
If you really want Sky channels and other sport channels, why not sign up for ntv.mx? No VPN or proxy required.

I've tried as well. Android app will not work in SA, it appears to detect your cell provider and not let you in, even if you take your sim out, and I tried with with a vpn and then unotelly.

The only way is to use your login via Xbox, PC or another supported device with unotelly or VPN. Sky works perfectly this way.
