looking through sky and checking their prices makes me horrified at the crap we get for ludacris prices

sky hd box = £49 -> R703.64

Dstc hd pvr = R2800

Dstv has about 70 channels and 1 hd for R520 a month

Sky has 91 channels:

- over 20 movie channels
-19 music
-11 news
-12 kiddies
-11 knowledge
-21 lifestyle

then add 31 HD channels and it costs £55.75 -> R800.57pm

for another £15 you get unlimited data at a speed of 16MBPS and unlimted local calls in the uk which comes to R 1015.97!!

Pumpkin lets see, We have around 2m people who can afford dstv right?

In the UK and i am sucking this through my ass but i would imagine 15-20 million people. So i would imagine things might be alot cheaper when your looking at 10x the user base. 60 odd million people in the UK atleast 1/3 must be able to to afford sky. 40 odd million people in SA but majority of the 40 odd million cannot afford dstv.

Sky News has mostly ugly presenters. They had that one young chick once but she's gone, instead we get this chick with a really harsh, low tone voice. Ugh....

Besides SkyNews is too UK-centric. No-one cares what the traffic situation is like in the UK or that the lords in the House of Lords have been taking bribes and have been finally
caught out.... want international news and good analysis.

You haven't seen the ETV News presenters . At least the SKY presenters don't look/behave like cardboard cut outs.
