Hi All,

I hope everyone is well.

i live in Cape Town and I recently decided to move away from Webafrica which I was loyal to for a few years now first on adsl and then when I moved to Cape Town I got a Fibre connection with them (20mb/10mb) that was running on Openserve.

I recently got recommended SkyFibre by a friend. I looked at their prices which were decent and they seem to offer a better deal than Webafrica for example. I decided to sign up for the 50mb/50mb uncapped for R850 on Openserve and the connection has been great with out any issues so far. No FUT applied either :)

If you are in Cape Town and are looking for a ISP I would recommend them.

Tempted to give them.a go but the connection and router prices are about R2800 if u dont sign contract..prices are good though

yea i went with the 36 month agreement. like i said above email the guy and find out what they can do for you

With an activation fee of R5000 fro the 50/50 package these okes are farking crazy to say the least. On a 50/50 package activation should be free

Yikes.. That is a crazy high activation fee. Is that what they told you for a month to month connection?

So looks like the activation fee on the Vumatel portal is not correct.

Got a mail from them now, it's only R499, so then it's not bad at all for M2M

Only catch is you have to use their router, so no thanks, not for me

Skyfi Internet Solutions are without a doubt the worst ISP I have ever dealt with. They somehow manage to make Telkom seem professional. I was using there WISP service and although this thread is about their Fibre service, a badly run company will disappoint regardless of service or product. All I can say is stay far away from them!
