Skype Beta for S60 available

A full feature Skype beta client is available for certain S60 Fp1 and Fp2 phones (E71, E66 etc). I have downloaded it and it really works well.

Pleasure, playing with it now and it has the same functionality as the PC client, people that I'm chatting with have no idea that its via a mobile client, so that seems to work well.

Very nice homescreen "IM message received" pop up windows, but still struggling to get the audio notification to work. Probably have missed a setting somewhere.

yeah, works nicely on my E52. It's not listed as a supported handset but it appears to working great.

Will probably run on most S60 Fp1 / Fp2 phones, even those not listed, but they wont list those phones as it is still a Beta issue. For those downloading and using, please let them know about any issues you may have. Using it on my E66 and it works beautifully, almost as good as the Windows version except for the sound notifications. I informed them about it and within 10 minutes I had feed back and that they would give it priority attention, so I'm really impressed with that level of support for a free program.
