Purchased this software from www.rsdevs.com/psgw.shtml
for USD $29. Allows you to make SkyPE calls via your PBX

Setup up a SIP extention on your Windows Desktop where your
SkyPE account is installed.
Register your SIP extension within PSGw software.
Dial that ext 220 in my case you will be routed to a remote
SkyPE user or SkyOut phone number in my case the SkyPE echo123 Echo Test

Incoming calls from SkyPE users to my SkyPE account can be redirected
to your Phone Operator (ie SIP Ext 220) who will then transfer the calls
to the relevant extension.

Cons:
* Installs on a Windows PC
* One concurrent SkyPE call at a time new version will have many concurrent calls

Linux version coming later on next year

I was just about to ask about something like this - good thing i did a search first.

This - as well as various other skype-asterisk gateway solutions that i've found - seem to be rather piece meal...

Has anyone found any better solutions to this?

I know there are a couple of hardware solutions - but i'm sure there must be something (even in BETA) that can interface asterisk to a local instance of skype...
