Skype gets users get ransomware message

Yes!!! I had that last week! I made a thread, because all my skype contacts got sent a link and infected them! The only way I could take it off was with malware! It found two worms! It was havoc here, all my contacts in TZ was skyping me and it lit up like a Xmas tree!!!
 
Whoever clicks these links without checking where they point to, deserves whatever comes their way.

And all this time we're told that Malware is bad for you.
 
Malware Bytes, its a program that deletes spyware and stuff.
 
Download a zip file, extract it and run it to "see a profile pic"...

I have no sympathy.

Thanks Nicci....I saw these getting sent to me on my Skype accounts, but my Apple Macs were not affected/infected. I will put that Malwarebytes that you suggest, on my Windows partitions on my Macs
 
Malwarebytes didn't detect the variant we received... how odd...
