Does anyone know if Skype uses allot of bandwith of u use webcams? the logical answer is yes but not sure and if does it use allot?

I skype my sister in the UK and it uses about 70-75MB for a 30-minute call...good quality using 3G E220 modem, 4 bars.

Doesn't chow anything significant.
I haven't bothered keeping tabs on it, but at times have kept the cam on for hour or two when calling a friend in the UK and haven't noticed significant changes in my cap.

Yeah, I am the same. I use it almost daily and don't notice huge changes either.

Living in an outlying area, I only have EDGE speed -- which is just enough to manage a decent Skype session most days -- UNLESS I turn on the webcam facility (either just receiving or sending, or both) which then sinks the session entirely. So from experience I can certainly attest that it needs significant bandwidth!
